I wrote this essay in response to a request for stories about how we saved the world. It was a wonderful challenge to merge the truth of my journey up to now with visions for how the future could unfold. This is the first time I've played with speculative fiction narratives. I can wait to hear what you think.
About how we pulled off saving the world Mind log entry: Karmilla Pillay Siokos - Pioneer of Learning Day: 3 Week: 4 Lunar cycle: 1 Solar Cycle: Twentieth cycle Post Love Shift (0021 PLS) Gregorian equivalent: 01 January 2050 It is now widely acknowledged, with the benefit of hindsight, that 2024 was the turning point in the most significant paradigm shift in human consciousness. It was also the year I turned 50, published my first book, and launched the Each1Reach1 mission in the One World Mighty Network. That is an interesting coincidence… if you believe in coincidence. By that time humanity had reached a point where only an unprecedented collaboration of pure love could bring us back from the brink of disaster. On this day, the 10th Anniversary of the opening of the Mind Log System, I will share with you my personal experience of the build up to creating the Gaian civilization that we enjoy today. To anyone under the age of 25 solar cycles, pre-shift society is probably as incomprehensible as the Stone Ages were to the people of my youth. I know that many of you accessing these memories of mine will also have looked into the experiences of other pioneers to shape your understanding of pre-shift human society. No matter how many mind logs you access or how far into the collective consciousness you travel, some concepts will always be abstract concepts to you. That is a heartwarming measure of the success of the pioneers. You have to understand the world we grew up in to fully appreciate the magnitude of the events building up to the LOVE SHIFT that young people now seem to think was an overnight success in overthrowing the warmongers. My story starts at a time when humans still thought of Gaia as Earth. We almost destroyed her in our quest to divide, conquer, and control based on the most ridiculously contrived systems of division. The place of my birth on the southern tip of the land mass we now know as iAfricana, was by no means the only society to separate and discriminate against people based on the amount and distribution of melanin across the epidermis. You may have come across the terms, “Slavery” and “Apartheid” in your research. While my birthplace was the last to remove the laws governing the violation of people with darker skin, the prejudices branded into people’s minds took far longer to eradicate, with pockets of racism holding out until the bitter end in many parts of the world. Speaking of the different parts of the world, you cannot imagine the ridiculousness of the process and effects of dividing Gaia up into what we knew as countries. Images of the planet were drawn up with markings to indicate which parts of the land masses and even some parts of the oceans and airspace were ruled by different groups of people. These divisions were determined by the humans who controlled the means to kill the most number of other humans. Sometimes the mere threat of violence was enough to shift a boundary. Other times millions of people were killed to determine who would have access to a specific part of Gaia that contained resources that were considered valuable. Centuries of colonization and two world wars resulted in the technology that unleashed the devastating effects of splitting an atom. The threat of using these weapons again was one of the biggest factors in preventing a third world war. This was the world of my childhood. My purpose to serve humanity was clear from before I can remember. My mom tells a story of how the only way they finally got me to give up my pacifier when I was a toddler was by telling me that a younger child needed it more than I did. In primary school I noticed that one of the other kids didn’t never had lunch so I started sharing my sandwiches with her. It took a few days of me eating more when I got home from school before my mom asked me what was going on. It hadn’t even occurred to me to ask her to pack more food. The drive to make the world a better place got stronger as I grew into adulthood. One of the defining moments in my relationship with the man who would become my husband was when he told me about his ideals for an organization called the Society Of Universal Love (S.O.U.L) The combination of the depth of the concept and the cleverness of the name was possibly the strongest factor in me realizing that this was somebody I could love forever. When our daughter was born we decided that we would homeschool her, as we both recognized the harmful effects of mainstream education. To this day I cringe when I hear people say, “I had a mainstream education and I turned out fine.” I use a very simple example to start them on the journey of questioning the insidiousness of our conditioning around the prevalent education systems that dominated well into this century. This is something else that anyone under the age of 30 now would find incomprehensible. There was an accepted process that we had to follow when we wanted to go to the bathroom during school hours. We had to raise our hands for permission to speak in class and wait for the teacher to allow us to even ask if we could go to the bathroom. The teacher then had the authority to refuse to give us permission to leave the classroom. Can you imagine a world where it was taken for granted that any human being could be given that much authority of another person’s bodily functions?! It is terrifying that billions of people were raised in a world where they blindly accepted that they were denied the right to something as basic as emptying a full bladder as soon as the need arose. What’s worse is that nobody questioned the depth of that violation of our personal sovereignty. The implication of that attitude in the context of educational frameworks was one of my greatest motivators for homeschooling my children and creating safe spaces for other children to learn what they wanted to learn when and how they wanted to learn it. An essential part of their holistic education was a sense of social consciousness. There were far more serious violations of personal body autonomy that are far too disturbing to go into details here. Some atrocities are better left as theoretical concepts. We worked with survivors of the horrific acts of sexual violence, creating support groups for people to heal, organizing protest action to raise awareness of the issues that perpetuated the cycle of violence, and collecting basic items to make care kits to give to shelters that catered to the physical needs of these survivors. In the process of doing this work it became painfully clear how crucial childhood conditioning was in the process of healing as well as in the creation of people who were capable of inflicting such deep pain on others. This led to my husband and me selling a thriving retail business in order to finance an alternative learning community where we would offer personalized holistic education to cater for multiple intelligences as well as parenting and empowerment workshops for adults to free themselves from the limitations of their childhood conditioning as well. It was devastating that the Covid lockdowns started weeks after we opened our doors. I couldn’t grasp how such a worthy cause could be prevented from manifesting by something so far beyond my control. It felt like a clear sign that this was not our life’s purpose. It would be years before the warm welcome into the global family of the Bridging Continents and Unity Earth circles helped me to understand that my purpose was so much greater than I could possibly have imagined. One of the most powerful hearts (or greatest minds, if you prefer the historically correct vocabulary) of the 20th century (measured from the year of the birth of one of the most influential truth speakers of the time) was a visionary called Dr Martin Luther King. I firmly believe that his words, “Those who love peace must learn to organize as effectively as those who love war” set the intention for the movement that started during the first global pandemic. While the reaction to the pandemic limited our capacity for physical interaction at a local level, it opened up a myriad of new possibilities on a global scale. Rapid advances in technology made it easy to communicate with people from all over the world in the comfort of our own homes. Remote work became the norm. We could run online convergences, giving us access to conversations with people we would never have dreamed of meeting in physical spaces. Those of us who had been labelled derisively as conspiracy theorist were able to gather together to share unconventional ideas, support each other’s research and inspire everyone to collaborate in ways that would have been impossible mere years before. I was vaguely aware of the earliest convergences through my interactions with Haseena and Shameema Patel, who I had met in 2024 in the course of my family’s social activism. It was 2023 before I could finally accept their invitation to join the Bridging Continents weekly meetings. The Healing for Rising team grew out of these meetings. It started with an invitation from Kara Stonehouse, who is now revered as the story weaver of the Gaian Movement and her work with “Love Organized”. The description of the convergence room we hosted together in World Unity Week and Peace Week now appears in a variety of memory logs, having survived the transition from technological data storage to accessing collective knowledge through the noosphere. “Our ability to create peace outside us is determined by the extent to which we create peace within us. As we heal and grow as individuals, we become more aware of the evolution of our roles within the systems that make up a greater whole. We bring a different energy to our personal relationships, social interactions, global impact and multiversal awareness. The Healing for Rising team creates a safe space for ceremonies, practices, and discussions to explore the interconnectedness of our individual and collective journey to peace and beyond. Join us to share the perspective of rising together in consciousness and pure love through varied healing modalities and processes.” In the process of co-creating this space, we developed a strong network of support. The experience of collaborating with so many people with similar goals of achieving peace was the first time I believed Dr King’s dream could become a reality. Please bear with me as I list the influences on my journey. It is important to reinforce that the Shift could not have been possible without intensive, radical cooperation between the people and organizations that produced the pioneers of our post-shift world. Speaking of any of our roles in isolation would be to paint only a partial picture of the enormous feat of unity that was essential to the giant leap forward in human evolution. It is an honor to have considered many of these compassionate leaders my friends. I have grouped people together by their common purpose or personal relationships with each other. Haseena Patel and Shameema Patel were involved in a number of projects that piqued my interest. We first collaborated on a Bubbles Beyond Borders Campaign together. This led to conversations about “Leave No Girl Behind”. After a few years of sporadic interactions, I started participating in Haseena’s yoga classes during that first pandemic. We lost contact for a little while again after my husband and I moved from iAfricana to a country called Greece in Evropi (or Europe as it was known then) with our son AJ who was 11 at the time. Her approach to yoga resonated so beautifully with me that she was still the first person I thought of when I was ready to start training again - 2 years later on a different continent. By the time we reconnected the worst of the government reactions to the pandemic were over. The groups she introduced me to shared my unpopular opinions about handling of the virus and the nature of the vaccines. One of these groups was the, “Humanity as an Organism Thrives” convergence room that brought Haseena’s partner Tom Acklin into my life as well. His perspective of healing as a regenerative process inspired me to look more deeply at my personal healing journey. My involvement in these spaces also allowed me to interact more closely with Shameema Patel. Please make the effort to research her mind logs. While she thrives in a supportive role and is a wonderfully compassionate listener, when she does speak, every single word is profoundly noteworthy. I have already spoken of Kara Stonehouse’s roles in Love Organized and Healing for Rising. What few people know is that she was also instrumental in founding Amplify Each Other’s Light. Attending the weekly meetings of this group played a significant role in my motivation to complete writing my book by my self-imposed deadline of my 50th birthday. Kara’s ADIEWA ceremonies to mark the lunar cycles heightened my experiences of a deeper connectedness with our individual and collective divinity. One session in particular, shaped my understanding that I was to be a midwife rather than a mother in the process of birthing the new humanity. Every other person in the Healing for Rising group contributed to creating the safe spaces for people to explore our full potential. When I first met Annelies she was involved with a project that she beautifully describes as “reimagining mental health into genius”. The writer in me was immediately fascinated by the program called “A Taste of Wonderland”. It has been incredible to watch the evolution of her context for sharing her wisdom into the Mad Hatter Summit and beyond. Sabine offered sound healing through her songs and light languages for inner and other peace. Juliet's introduction of the concept of "Paxiere" fundamentally shifted my understanding of my role in the evolution of humankind towards more peaceful interactions as individuals and in groups. Amelie brought in the grandmother energy in the best possible ways, sharing her wisdom and playfulness to make every space we shared feel like a warm embrace. Anja reminded me of the immense power of sacred ceremony in communing with nature. Her deep intuitive connectedness with divinity and elemental energies strengthened my faith when my fear showed up in unexpected ways. There were also some powerful collaborations outside of the healing for rising team and my deep friendships with Haseena and Shameema. Brian and Lisa Berman hosted Community Listening Circles as part of their Awakening Peace initiative. The stark contrast of their energy with the world in which we lived at the time was a beacon of hope for what we could achieve by creating spaces where people able to feel heard. There were often times when I found myself inspired to delve deep into issues that I didn’t even know I needed to explore. All of these threads were interwoven through the backdrop of the Global Seasonal Convergences that marked the equinoxes and solstices. You will definitely find a wide range of old reels and current mind logs describing these events and their multitude of sponsors. This list would not be complete without acknowledging Tex Albert. His warm welcome and generous support was a defining factor in my first experience of World Unity Week. Now that you have a broader understanding of the extent of the networks that were raising the collective vibration in preparation for the shift, we can look at my personal mission. The relationships we built in these circles were in stark contrast with the way we were told the world operated around us. What emerged from the conversations in these spaces was the relief of finding others who were on similar journeys so that we could be empowered by each other to share our knowledge. This reminded me of the each one teach one movement during the times of slavery and apartheid. Even the most basic forms of education were denied to people of color. The slaves who somehow managed to learn to read and write took responsibility for teaching others. In the apartheid era this sharing of knowledge was extended to include awareness of resistance movements and political education. By the end of 2023 it became clear that there was once again a deliberate effort to limit the access to specific types of awareness. The aim of my 2024 mission titled Each1Reach1 was to start conversations that inspire people to challenge their social conditioning, freeing them to recognize the divinity in themselves and in every aspect of the manifest multiverse. The first step was to publish a book that highlighted various aspects of my journey to realizing this truth for myself. I then hosted weekly discussion groups to share perspectives about the state of the world and how we could work together to create inner peace and interact with the world around us from a place of love. During this time I attended the first global symposium to awaken humanity’s sacred mission. Jon Ramer shared something that he had written about a spectrum of intelligence in the One World Mighty Network. It was perfectly aligned with the work that I had started decades earlier based on the multiple intelligences theory. A number of people from the symposium started conversations in that thread. All of the work that I had put into building that alternative learning center in 2019 suddenly became relevant again. I shared my designs for the practical implementation of my research into child led learning that would replace the authority based transmission of irrelevant biased data with an open system of communication to share skills and understanding with mutual love and respect. A team grew around the need to regenerate our education systems. The Each1Reach1 mission also continued to grow, creating safe spaces for people to explore new ways of being as we prepared to rise together as one humanity. The thing about radical cocreation by people who volunteer their time is that its very nature removes any need for micromanagement. Everyone gives the best of themselves to every situation. In this spirit I had no reason to question the roles of the peace bringers and healers to fulfill the prophecy of peace on Earth by 2030. When the second pandemic was orchestrated in the late 20s, the old paradigms fell away in the aftermath of averting a third world war. We were forced to acknowledge that if humanity was to have any chance of survival, we had to fundamentally change the operating principles of our society. The world was finally ready to implement the system of education that the One World team had perfected by this time. All of the pioneers that I talked about at the beginning of this story and so many others who were not part of my close circles stepped up equally in their own fields of wisdom to ease the world into a way of life that was conducive to cocreating a reality where all of humanity could thrive together. The world we live in now is proof that by changing the way we support the development of our children into adulthood we can indeed change the world in one generation. Given the freedom to explore your natural potential you created a Utopia beyond anything that my generation could have imagined.
